    The best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka.Avani spa and resort, hotel looks great, nice room spacious, clean, modern. Two pools beautiful,right on beach. Universal adaptors built in, Modern flat screen with plenty of channels Would definitely recommend this hotel.

    What a grand spot! The room was dead handy with lovely coffee maker and fab beach just a stone's throw away. Only downside was the breakfast could've used a bit more variety, but the local dishes were mighty tasty!

    exceptionally nice units for a camp bed. unbeatable location in bentota, really close to train station and a long stretch of beach, a beautiful, long beach, with a very nicely groomed garden, always kept clean, and the railway too.

    Beds were not comfortable.

    My experience was disappointing from the start. We had to wait over an hour to check into our room. On top of that, the noise from the beach party on our final night was unbearable, as management failed to inform us about it ending later than stated. The lack of communication from staff about local attractions and their unhelpful responses to our requests left us frustrated.

    The staff were absolutly lovely and very helpful. The surroundings of the gardens was very relaxing and charming. For an easy going holiday close to all the bars and resturants along the waters in Unawatuna its perfect.
